Today: an operations manager who makes $70,000
Occupation: operations manager
Age: 41
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary: $70,000 (approx. $1,981 per pay period)
Day One
I made the mistake of trying to fix my own circuit breakers before work this morning and irritated an old back injury in the process. So, I took to Google to seek out electric repair in Albuquerque and get a pro to come fix it. They’ll come by this afternoon while I’m at work, and I’ll cover the bill come payday. For now, I head to work. I only make it a few hours before calling off for the afternoon, though—my back hurts too much to sit at my desk much longer today.
On the way home, I stopped by the nearest drive-through for a bite to eat. My wife, L., is out of town visiting family, so I’m on my own for the evening—the perfect opportunity to catch up on the trashy reality TV shows she doesn’t like to watch with me!
Total: $9.50
Day Two
This morning, I woke up with even more pain than I felt yesterday. After letting my boss know I’ll have to stay home longer, I turn to some at-home methods to hopefully avoid a doctor’s appointment.
If you get discomfort like this and come across CBD oil for sale, I definitely recommend you get some for yourself. I talked to my doctor about CBD and he agreed that a particular strength or dosage could help with few to no side effects. With a dose of CBD oil easing my discomfort, I order some food from my favorite delivery service and entertain myself by browsing other CBD products I could try going forward.
Total: $27
Day Three
Today, I’m still depending on my CBD oil—the FDA hasn’t researched its benefits yet, but I swear by it! When you first start reaching cannabinoids like CBD for your own health and wellness, you’ll find every type of potency, flavor, and form of CBD product you could imagine. From hemp and CBD-infused oils to tinctures, gummies, and capsules, CBD offers all of the benefits with none of the THC, which could make you fail a drug test and create psychoactive effects. So, when I order some groceries, I don’t have to worry about the munchies making me order extra junk food.
All this is to say, I’m grateful for cannabidiol and the oil I’ve been using to manage this nagging back pain. I’ve tried a few different CBD brands, but this is the best CBD oil I’ve used, by far. I know other people might prefer CBD gummies or some other format rather than the CBD tincture I turn to. But these are my personal favorite, and you’ll find them throughout the United States.
Total: $67
Day Four
I’m home recovering for the rest of the week, so today is as good a day as any to upgrade my streaming service and rewatch the U.S. version of The Office. I can’t help but wonder what Michael Scott would have to say about CBD. Definitely some sort of joke about the entourage effect and related topics, if I had to guess! After finishing the first season, I heat up a TV dinner from yesterday’s grocery haul and decide to do some research into the endocannabinoid system. As much as I love CBD oil, I’ve never really studied up terpenes and the technical effects of CBD.
Total: $50
Day Five
I’m still not up to a normal level of function, but I‘m finally starting to feel a little bit better, thankfully. Hopefully, I’ll be up to picking up L. from the airport tomorrow, as she comes back from visiting her hometown. For now, I order a pizza and try to get some more rest.
Total: $19
Day Six
This morning, I’m still pretty sore, but I make my way to meet L. at ABQ Sunport. We stop for breakfast, then make our way back to the house. I head back to the couch and take my next dose of CBD. L. joins me and we catch up, then I take a nap and she reads a book until dinnertime when she makes spaghetti.
Total: $28
Day Seven
Finally, I’m feeling normal, more or less, with a lot less back discomfort than I’ve been dealing with throughout the week. I should be fine to go back to work tomorrow, and I’ll try my best to take it easy. L. and celebrate by ordering in a ton of Chinese takeout to enjoy.
Total: $47
Total for the week: $247.50
